all my times

Every tick and every tock. 

When I sit and when I walk.

Everything that I have planned,

and all I do not understand. 

What feels good, and what seems bad,

the times of joy and times I’m sad.

In times I find that I have plenty,

and others when my pocket’s empty.

When healthy and full of life’s bright bloom,     

and when my body aches with doom.

When months turn years and I am old,

I’ll ask for strength to live life bold.

In every moment of every day

I’ll trust in You and I will say,

“My times are in Your hand, Oh Lord,

my times are in Your hand.”

Psalms 31:14-15

But I trust in you, O Lord; I say, “You are my God.” My times are in your hand.
