By now, most people are already feeling defeated in their "New Year Resolutions".

How sad is that?!  But yah... honestly, I know I've hit the point of feeling a failure by mid-January in the past. The heavy of that seems silly, but it's real.

So I learned a simple secret. Wanna hear it?

STOP gauging success the way the world does... by check lists and vertical rungs! Today, take one-small-step. Turn your eyes towards your good Father Who looks at your heart, NOT your performance!

Did you know that He rejoices over any and every small beginning?

Any step towards Him IS success!

"Do not despise these small beginnings, for the Lord rejoices to see the work begin, to see the plumb line in "your" hand".  Zechariah 4:10 (NLT)

"The Faithful love of the Lord never ends!  His mercies never cease.  Great is His faithfulness; His mercies begin afresh each morning."  Lamentations 3:22-23

What is God speaking to you about this new year?  

He loves new days.  He cheers fresh starts.  He dances over do-overs.

And He rejoices over small beginnings.
